Terms of Use

Effective date: 10 August 2026

AppSight reads public store listings and, if you connect a developer key, your own App Store Connect and Google Play figures. It reports what the stores say; it does not guarantee that what the stores say is complete or timely.

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Aryeh Naar and apply when you use the AppSight app or website. If you do not agree with them, do not use the App.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and if you use AppSight for a company you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

  • App — AppSight
  • Developer — Aryeh Naar
  • Website — appsight.app
  • Contact — appsight@byaryeh.xyz

2. What AppSight does

AppSight follows public App Store and Google Play listings, tracks public chart positions, and — when you connect an App Store Connect key, a Google Play service account, or your own RevenueCat key — imports related sales, download, review, and subscription signals to your device.

Optional written daily reports summarise consented figures with a language model. Optional push notifications can alert you to chart moves, activity, and report readiness.

AppSight is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Apple or Google. App names, icons, and store content belong to their respective owners.

3. Your credentials

You may only connect a developer key or RevenueCat key you are authorised to use. Using AppSight does not exempt you from the Apple Developer Program License Agreement, the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement, or RevenueCat’s terms, and you remain responsible for your accounts with them.

Keys are stored encrypted on your device and are never sent to us, which also means only you can revoke them. If a device is lost, revoke the key in App Store Connect, the Google Cloud console, or RevenueCat.

Review replies you send through AppSight are published to the store under your developer account. You are responsible for their content and for complying with each store’s review and reply rules.

4. Accuracy

The figures shown come from Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and their public pages. Store reports arrive late, get restated, and are sometimes incomplete; public pages change format without notice and can stop parsing altogether.

AppSight shows what it could read and says so when a figure is missing. Do not rely on it as a system of record for accounting, tax, or investor reporting.

5. Written reports

Daily reports are generated by a language model from the figures you consent to upload. They can be wrong, and they are a reading of your numbers rather than business, financial, legal, or tax advice. Check anything that matters against the store’s own reports before acting on it.

6. Free and Pro

  • Free: following public listings, connecting your developer keys, today’s headline downloads, proceeds and subscribers, the count of countries you chart in, and a limited set of those countries.
  • Pro: the full Analytics tab and its date ranges, every charting country with search and pins, deeper per-country metrics, the Activity feed (including reviews and subscription movement when you connect the needed keys), full notification kinds, and the written daily reports.

We may change what sits on each side of that line. If a paid feature is removed, we will say so before your next renewal so you can decide whether to keep the subscription.

7. Subscriptions, lifetime purchase, and payment

Pro may be sold as an auto-renewing subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is taken by the store when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew at the same price until you cancel them.

Cancel a subscription at any time in your store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. A lifetime purchase does not renew. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us. If a subscription price changes, the store will ask you to agree before it applies.

Deleting AppSight data or your anonymous account does not cancel a store subscription or revoke a lifetime purchase. Manage or cancel those in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and restore purchases in the App if you reinstall.

8. Acceptable use

  • Do not try to break, overload, or work around the limits of the service, or resell access to it.
  • Do not use AppSight to gather figures for a developer account you do not have permission to use.
  • Do not scrape or redistribute the chart data we collect as if it were your own dataset.
  • Do not use notifications, reports, or review replies to harass anyone or to violate store policies.

9. Availability and changes

Store APIs and public pages can change or fail, and features that depend on them may break or be withdrawn. We may change or discontinue parts of AppSight, and we will not remove a paid feature without notice before renewal.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using AppSight at any time by deleting your data in Settings and removing the App. We may suspend access if these terms are being broken in a way that puts the service or other people at risk.

11. No warranty and limits on liability

AppSight is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose (or, for a lifetime purchase, what you paid for that purchase).

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

12. Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement

If you downloaded AppSight from the Apple App Store, your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/, and to the applicable App Store terms. In a conflict between those Apple terms and these Terms of Use for the licensed iOS application, Apple’s Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple.
